Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to take up the exciting post of Human Resource Management Lecturer.
The primary function of the post is to develop the skills and understanding of students studying CIPD professional qualifications on a classroom and blended-learning basis.
You will provide support to these students throughout their course of study and maintain records of group student attendance and achievements. You will also be responsible for preparing materials for lessons as specified within job outline and interact with students to monitor knowledge and understanding as well as providing constructive feedback to learners on their performance.
We expect you have: a degree in Human Resource Management; professional qualification in HR or a higher-level HR qualification (i.e. Masters); current industry knowledge; the skills to underpin the specific curriculum area (HR); excellent presentation, organisational, IT, time-keeping and decision- making skills; and the ability to work flexibly and effectively respond to changes.
