We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong customer focus to join our busy International Team.

The Team Leader International Projects and Student Support will line manage the International Projects and Student Support function of the International team.

The role is responsible for managing day-to-day delivery of international commercial projects, including bespoke programmes for international groups for delivery in Edinburgh, online or overseas. The successful applicant will coordinate a small team to provide our international clients and students with consistently high quality educational and cultural experiences.

Additionally, the role leads on international student support and acts as first point of contact for international student support issues.

The successful applicant will have a flexible and proactive approach to the responsibilities of the role, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality, calm and responsive customer service at all times.

Alongside providing excellent customer service, our ideal candidate will have experience managing people and have excellent communication and relationship building skills. They will be able to use tact, diplomacy and an understanding of cultural sensitivities to deal calmly with student matters.

Strong project management and excellent organisational skills, including decision making skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively are essential for the successful candidate to coordinate, oversee and report on multiple projects simultaneously. Good financial acumen will be beneficial as will a focus on continuous improvement.

Ideally, our preferred candidate will have recent experience of working with international clients in an educational or tourism context.

The successful candidate will be based at our Sighthill Campus but may be required to work at any Edinburgh College campus. A flexible approach to working hours will be necessary, as some evening and weekend work will be required, and annual leave restrictions will apply during periods of peak activity.
