Training Technician (Automotive) - Permanent - EC01649

Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Training Technician to join our Automotive team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine technical expertise with supporting students in developing practical automotive skills across a range of programmes.

As part of the curriculum team, your role will support programme delivery and the effective operation of our automotive workshop facilities. You’ll help students develop the confidence, technical ability and industry-standard working practices required for careers in the automotive sector, while ensuring workshops remain safe, organised and fully equipped.

The role includes supporting practical learning activities, maintaining tools, equipment and vehicles, preparing workshop resources and assisting with the delivery of training in areas including vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and emerging automotive technologies.

This role is ideal for an experienced automotive technician or engineer who enjoys working with people, sharing knowledge and supporting high-quality technical learning environments.
