Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Work-based Assessor in Technical Theatre.

The primary function for this post is to co-ordinate and assess the Modern Apprenticeship in Technical Theatre and Production Operations in the School Performing Arts and Photography. The role will provide support to the apprentices throughout their course of study and be the point of contact in working towards their award.

You must be educated to a minimum SCQF Level 8 in Technical Theatre/Stage Management. You will be a good communicator and team player with relevant Technical Theatre experience.

A wide knowledge and experience of technical theatre and production operations, including: lighting control systems, sound and light operation, fly systems, health and safety in theatre.

Experience of operating and running live performances.
