About the Role

This post provides dedicated and specialist support to the Business Engagement, Partnerships and Scholarship & Alumni teams with the delivery of business and commercial courses and scholarship processes from commencement to conclusion.

The postholder will demonstrate independent working by prioritising and planning workload, ensuring all contractual deadlines are met with a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

· First line administrative problem solving for the efficient delivery of commercial courses.

· Following course approval, monitor delegate numbers, ensure course materials and relevant documentation are in date and prepared in accordance with house style.

· Course administration

· Support documentation updates within the Quality Management System and prepare for Quality and re approval visits from Awarding Bodies, including (APM, PRINCE2, NEBOSH, IOSH).

· Prepare and manage meeting agendas, Invitations for both internal and external customers on behalf of the Head of Partnerships and Innovation.

· Working with the Sales & Business Engagement Teams to ensure a first-class service is provided to the clients.

· Continually review and identify new business support processes to ensure the delivery of an effective and customer focused training service to a wide range of clients.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Essential:

o Qualified to HNC or equivalent (SCQF level 7) in a relevant subject or extensive experience in a similar role.

o Knowledge of non-SFC business/ client support environment

o Administration duties using digital and cloud-based systems

o CRM/MIS experience

o Effective customer/client engagement

o Working in a procedure flow environment with attention to detail and proven record of meeting deadlines

  • Desirable:

o Experience/knowledge of procurement systems and procedures.

o Experience/knowledge of a commercial sales environment.

o Experience/knowledge of awarding bodies and associated processes.

Skills and Attributes

  • Essential:

o Ability to work under minimal supervision, prioritising tasks when there is a high volume of commercial courses being delivered in any one Month, managing your own workload and negotiating deadlines where necessary

o The ability to productively utilise, adapt and develop systems within a commercial environment and maintain current modifications

o Excellent communication skills

o Excellent digital skills

o Approachable, supportive and self- motivated

o Able to use own initiative and as part of a team
