Fife College is one of Scotland's leading colleges, providing high-quality further and higher education to over 20,000 students. Through inspirational learning, innovation and strong community partnerships, we help learners develop the skills and confidence to succeed. With a strong focus on innovation, inclusion and partnership, Fife College is an exciting and rewarding place to work and develop your career.

About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and organised Healthcare Work Placement Coordinator to support the delivery of our Next Generation HNC Healthcare programme. Working closely with the Curriculum Manager and Healthcare Technician, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality healthcare work placement opportunities that provide learners with meaningful industry experience and support successful achievement of their qualifications.

You will act as the primary point of contact for learner placements, building strong relationships with NHS partners, employers and community organisations. The role involves coordinating placements, monitoring learner progress, conducting workplace assessments, supporting achievement of clinical skills outcomes and ensuring compliance with awarding body and quality assurance requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in healthcare practice, learner assessment and employer engagement who is passionate about supporting the development of the future healthcare workforce.

About You

You will be an organised and proactive individual with experience in healthcare, education, training, or employer engagement environments. You'll have strong communication and relationship-building skills, enabling you to work effectively with learners, colleagues, employers and healthcare partners. With the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and maintain high standards of quality and compliance, you will be confident supporting learners throughout their placement journey while helping to develop meaningful industry partnerships. A commitment to delivering excellent learner outcomes, combined with strong administrative and digital skills, will be key to success in this role. A full driving licence and willingness to travel across Fife are essential.

What We Offer

Joining Fife College means becoming part of a collaborative and forward-thinking organisation that is committed to developing its people and delivering positive outcomes for staff, learners and the wider community.

You'll also benefit from:

46 days' annual leave, including fixed closure days.
