Catering Assistant (Barista) - Evening
£24,640 - £25,140 (pro-rata)*
10 hours per week over 34 weeks per annum – 3.30pm to 8.30pm (term time, annualised salary)
Based at Falkirk Campus
Fixed Term to June 2025

Working at the Falkirk Campus in Starbucks, you will have responsibility for providing excellent customer service and a first class Barista service to staff, students and members of the public. Working 2 evenings per week, your duties will include serving customers, stock replenishment, cash handling and setting up and cleaning of the Starbucks coffee bar area and equipment. You will also be responsible for the compliance with Health and Safety and catering service policies and procedures.

You will be working alone on these evenings, so must be prepared to work on your own initiative. You will also be required to undertake Starbucks training and adhere to their operating standards as well as those of the college.

With a knowledge of food hygiene best practice, you should have an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate (or be prepared to gain this within 1 month of commencing in the role) and a minimum of 1 years experience working in a Barista environment.
