Fixed Term to June 2025

An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Student Support Manager to lead the Student Support team within the department of Inclusion and Student Services.  The Student Support Manager will deliver a needs-led student support service in line with College priorities and support the embedding of equality, inclusion and diversity at Forth Valley College.

The Student Support Manager is expected to manage our student support activity across all of our campuses. This support includes needs-assessment activity for students with Additional Support Needs, the delivery of advice and guidance, all safeguarding interventions and bespoke support for students who fall under widening participation categories.

With strong management experience and extensive knowledge of delivering support within an education setting, you will have strong planning and organising skills and a commitment to positively impacting on student success. You will have experience of building and sustaining excellent relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, possess strong persuasion and influencing skills, and be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills. 

You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player who has the ability and skill to support and develop others, and can work well to tight timescales within a busy operational service.
