The team

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our international student recruitment team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about international student recruitment and marketing and has a strong desire to make a positive impact. Based within the Directorate of Future Students and Marketing the team is responsible for the delivery of the University’s international plans, including activities to attract qualified international students to study at our university, the management of our global network of education agents, sponsors and partners, and market insights.

The role

This role involves a wide range of administrative services supporting the team delivery of the University’s international recruitment and partnership strategies. This includes administrative tasks related to agent management, contracts, travel bookings and scheduling, marketing and social media, and enquiry management. The postholder will attend some recruitment and partnership events and virtual events, representing the University externally to prospective students, their key influences and education recruitment agents. This will involve providing information on student life, course information and entry requirements to prospective students, education agents, sponsors and partners. This role is based in Glasgow, Scotland, and may involve UK and international travel.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will be educated to HNC level or equivalent experience and have relevant experience in marketing, recruitment, admissions and/international activities. You’ll have confident communication skills and experience of delivery of a high standard of customer service. A good understanding of management reporting and data analysis is relevant for this position, with attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
