This is a full-time and open-ended opportunity based at GCU London, with an additional London Weighting payment of £4,804 per annum.
In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive a yearly incremental pay rise up to the top of the grade scale, a generous holiday entitlement of 33 days holiday plus 13 University closure/bank holidays, opportunities for professional development, family friendly policies, and cycle to work scheme.
The role is 35 hours per week, and we offer flexible working options including hybrid working, normally with up to 2 days remote working dependent on work duties.
About the role
GCU London is looking to appoint a full-time Administrative Assistant to work as part of an effective Programme Administration team. The role holder will provide a comprehensive administrative support service to Programmes and Registry at the London Campus, playing a key role in the delivery of an excellent student experience - including liaison with students, academic staff and external organisations as necessary. Applicants should have a passion for delivering high-quality service and excellent attention to detail.
About you
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dependable individual with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as on their own initiative. You will possess excellent organisation skills, with the ability to maintain clear and accurate records, as well as collate and organise data. You will be an excellent communicator with a passion for providing high-quality customer service. You will be proficient in MS Office packages, in particular Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint and Excel. A working knowledge of Further/Higher Education, including the use of a student records system and experience of liaising and working collaboratively with external stakeholders is desirable.
