The Executive Support Team provide efficient, professional services to members of the Executive. This role will be to support the Principal and Vice-Chancellor directly.
Reporting to the Head of the Vice Chancellor’s Office and Executive Support, the successful individual will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be proactive in aiding the achievement of the University’s Strategy 2030 goals through supporting the Principal/Vice Chancellor. You will thrive in a busy and demanding environment that requires the ability to multi-task effectively and prioritise your workload appropriately, whilst maintaining a confident and professional manner. This requires a high level of personal responsibility, the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive issues appropriately, and the understanding of where to use initiative and where to seek guidance. You will have strong administrative and organisational skills, ideally gained within a Higher Education environment, including complex diary management. You will also be an active member in the wider Executive Support team, contributing to University activities such as Graduation events and meeting and greeting stakeholders and visitors to the Principal/Vice Chancellor (and the wider executive team).
