The Directorate of Estates and Facilities Management (E&FM) are responsible for the management and day-to-day running of the University estate and ensures essential services are in place for all who work, study and visit Glasgow Caledonian. The effective use of Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) System is vital for managing and monitoring works carried out by Estates and Facilities Management through an asset management approach to our estate.

The Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) System Administrator will play a pivotal role in delivering an effective CAFM system through acting as the main point of contact and specialist for the CAFM system. Key responsibilities will include but not limited to providing guidance and advice to solving systems problems, providing data analysis and reporting to CAFM users, contribute to the implementation of the asset management strategy for the University and collaborate with Estates and Facilities colleagues to implement system alterations including setting up PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) schedules. The post-holder will assist with other University systems as necessary including compliance and contractor management system. 

The successful candidate will have sound knowledge and experience of CAFM systems and experience of contributing to the delivery of buildings and estates services. The post-holder will be able to work on their own initiative and as part of Estates and Facilities in prioritising workload, activities in line with statutory requirements and business needs.
