This is a fixed-term position for 2 years.

Finance provides high quality financial information, advice and support to members of the University in planning, controlling and monitoring financial performance, providing practical help in achieving the University goals. Finance works to enable a successful and sustainable University by delivering, promoting and supporting effective financial management and information to staff, students and other stakeholders.
This role will provide support for the University’s Finance Systems, taking the lead in incident management and delivering operational support. The role involves the management of system changes/updates, testing and deployment of upgrades and assisting in the implementation of system enhancements.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of Finance solutions with experience of supporting users of systems. They will have excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively to audiences of technical and non-technical colleagues. They will have proven experience in managing data integrity and quality in a finance software system. The candidate should possess well developed analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to apply appropriate levels of initiative, judgement and creativity. Additionally, they should be a proactive team member who can motivate, encourage and support others with a strong commitment to the provision of excellent customer service.
Knowledge of SITS/e:Vision and/or Oracle system support and configuration would be advantageous but not essential.
