The Directorate of School Professional Services is looking to appoint a Placements Administrator to provide administrative support with tasks associated with placement activity, including liaison with academic staff and external organisations as necessary, to ensure a high quality student experience.
The role holder will be a core member of the Placements team working proactively to provide effective and efficient administrative support of Placement activity across the Schools.
The successful candidate should be educated to HND level or have equivalent relevant experience and be proficient in MS Office packages, in particular Microsoft Word and Excel. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate excellent customer skills together with excellent organisational skills and the ability to maintain clear and accurate records. Collating and organise data for reporting purposes is also an essential skill. With excellent communication skills, the role holder will have the ability to work on their own initiate whilst also working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders. The ability to manage and prioritise workloads is essential as is identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing and implementing best practice.
