The Directorate of Future Students, Marketing & Communications are seeking to appoint a motivated, customer-focussed and organised individual to the position of Senior Enquiries Assistant for a period until 30 September 2025. Working within our Enquiries Team, you will be responsible for providing detailed information and guidance to prospective GCU students on a broad range of topics, including enquiries of a non-routine or more complex nature.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the preparation of operational reports on enquiry volumes to help us better understand and improve our service, as well as ensuring that our knowledge base of information and standard responses is maintained to an accurate and customer-focussed standard.
Our Enquiries Team provide useful information and helpful advice to prospective GCU students contacting us via phone, email, web form, reception desk, and live chat. We always aim for our interactions with prospective students to provide a positive impression of GCU, by demonstrating a helpful, informative, and efficient service, focused on the customer and finding a positive solution for them.
With the ability to exercise initiative and find frontline solutions for prospective students, the successful candidate will be capable of supporting the organisation of the team’s daily workload.
Educated to HND level or equivalent relevant experience, you will be able to work to a high standard within a fast-paced customer service environment, often to tight deadlines and showing a keen appreciation of the needs of applicants and enquirers from different markets. You will also have experience of producing reports within Microsoft Excel or similar, with the ability to consider the appropriate style and format for various internal and external stakeholders.
