The School is seeking to recruit a motivated and inspiring job-share Class Teacher, to commence at the earliest opportunity.
This is a most exciting opportunity to join our staff team. Class Teachers should be prepared to work at any stage of our Junior School and be committed to the role and School. The post will initially commence in Junior 5, with a working pattern of full days each Monday, Tuesday and alternative Wednesdays.
The successful candidate should have the experience and expertise required to fulfil the job description enclosed. They should be prepared to give time and commitment to projects beyond the classroom that would be beneficial to the education of the pupils.
Salary is at the National Scale (pro-rata). The successful applicant may, if desired, participate in the Scottish Teachers’ Superannuation Scheme and the School will pay the employer’s contribution.
Candidates must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS). The appointment will be subject to a successful application to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
