Lecturer – Electrical Engineering

To supplement our existing staff team, we would welcome applications from those interested in teaching Electrical Engineering within the Lanarkshire Institute of Science & Technology.
With practical experience in the relevant discipline, you must have served a recognised Apprenticeship, and or have post qualified industry work experience.
You should be qualified to HND (SCQF Level 8) or equivalent level of qualification, in an appropriate field. Possession of a teaching qualification, and assessor or verifier units would be advantageous, and ideally you will have experience in delivering and developing the Further Education curriculum.
With experience in Electrical Engineering, you will have the skills necessary to support the teaching and development of these curriculum areas within the busy institute of Science & Technology.
An effective communicator, and a highly motivated individual, you will have a passion for the subject and the ability to work to deadlines both within a team setting, and on your own.
