Temporary Lecturer – Early Education & Childcare
£43,402 - £52,247 per annum, pro rata
Up to 26 hours per week
Motherwell Campus
Temporary until June 2027
With experience in Early Learning and Childcare, you will support the teaching and development of the Early Learning & Childcare curriculum within the Department of Education.
Qualified to degree level (SCQF level 9) as a minimum, with work experience in a relevant discipline, you must have a good understanding of the subject area. You will possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to motivate and encourage learners.
Possession of a teaching qualification and assessor or verifier units would be advantageous but not essential and you will ideally have experience in delivering and developing the Further Education curriculum.
An effective communicator and a highly motivated individual, you will have a passion for the subject and the ability to work to deadlines and on your own initiative.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are interested in developing their skills within the education sector.
This post may involve a cross-college teaching remit but will be predominantly based at our Motherwell Campus.
