NCL is looking to appoint a Work Based Assessor to support, assess and verify candidates undertaking SVQ’s at SCQF Level 6 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. The suitable candidate will be qualified to SVQ level 3 (SCQF Level 6) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and in possession of a minimum HNC in a related discipline/s. You will be in possession of (or willing to work towards) a relevant formal Assessor qualification relating to the gathering of evidence of learner attainment in a range of work settings.
Successful candidates should hold (or willing to work towards) a relevant H&S award such as IOSH Managing Safely.
Recent industrial experience in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Sector and knowledge of the relevant National Occupational Standards system is essential for this post, as is the ability to work to strict deadlines. A full driving licence is essential.
