The college is looking for an exceptional candidate for the role of Forest College Co-ordinator. The Forest College is a national centre to support lifelong learning outdoors. It helps learners and leaders of all ages to develop their knowledge, skills and leadership in the forest and outdoors. The Forest & Outdoor Learning Awards (FOLAs) are accredited to SCQF Levels 2-6 & 8 and provide progression pathways into employment or education. The Forest College Co-ordinator will be responsible for developing the Forest College Programme within the college and with external partners. This will include the marketing, delivery and evaluation of the FOLAs. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level with post-qualifying experience in a related field, have experience of delivering rural skills/outdoor learning programmes, and working with young people aged 13 and over in school or in the community. Good project management and communication skills are essential, and experience of marketing learning programmes and partnership working are important.
