An opportunity has arisen to join the Learning & Teaching team at Newbattle Abbey College as a Lecturer in Mathematics. This is a part-time post, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with recent experience of teaching maths at Nat 5. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in the relevant subject, and while a Post Graduate teaching qualification or TQFE is desirable, it is not essential.
We are looking for candidates who have experience of working with adults who have low or no qualifications returning to learning. Some experience of working in Further Education in Scotland would be an advantage. A good knowledge of technology to support delivery of online learning and teaching would be an advantage.
