Job Purpose / Job Summary

Oakley ASN is an ambitious and pioneering charity based in Aberdeenshire, created to transform the lives of children and young people with Additional Support Needs (ASN) and their families.

We are now recruiting a Registered Services Manager (Children’s Support & Respite) to lead the next chapter of our journey as we prepare to open our brand new purpose-built centre just outside Stonehaven. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role at one of Scotland’s most exciting new ASN support services - designed from the ground up with inclusion, dignity, sensory regulation, and child-led practice at its heart.

Our building has been carefully planned to be more than a facility - it is part of the support. With dedicated play and activity spaces, sensory provision, an accessible learning kitchen, calm family rooms, and an enclosed outdoor area designed for safe, joyful exploration, OaKley ASN is setting a new standard for what ASN respite and support can look like.

As Registered Services Manager (Children’s Support & Respite), you will take the lead in managing the day-to-day running of our regulated services, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding and compliance. You will be responsible for leading staff, embedding strong systems, and ensuring Oakley ASN is inspection-ready at all times. Most importantly, you will help shape a service where children feel safe, understood and celebrated — and where families feel supported, listened to and valued.

This role is ideal for an experienced and passionate leader who thrives in a fast-moving environment, understands Care Inspectorate expectations, and is excited by the opportunity to build something exceptional from the very beginning.

If you are looking for a role that is meaningful, inspiring, and genuinely life-changing, where you can leave your mark on a service that will impact families for generations, we would love to hear from you.
