The Division of Media, Communication and Performing Arts seeks a new technical colleague to support and facilitate the smooth and efficient delivery of our suite of performing arts degree programmes.

You will have the knowledge and skills to assume responsibility for the technical operation of the wide variety of theatre productions and practical performance assessments conducted by QMU students and staff. You will have current professional technical theatre experience and will be organised, self-motivated, and have a solution driven approach to working with students and staff. You will relish demonstrating, guiding and mentoring QMU students in safe creative practice. You will be at home overseeing the safe and effective use of the studio theatre, control room, rehearsal spaces, and production equipment. As such you should be patient, be a good communicator, and be passionate about supporting people to learn new skills.
