Robert Gordon's College is seeking to appoint a Commanding Officer - RAF Section for the College's Combined Cadet Force (CCF). This position will report to the CCF Contingent Commander and is responsible for operating within MoD regulations and also within the Aims, Objectives and Rules of Robert Gordon's College.

The post is remunerated by an allowance paid by the College on a monthly basis in addition to a number of days of Volunteer Allowance paid directly by the MoD as a commissioned officer. The key responsibilities of the position are:

  • Having oversight of all RAF Section matters;
  • Maintaining regular liaisons with the Contingent Commander, Army Section Commander and the SSI;
  • Ensure adherence by staff and cadets to military procedures;
  • Ensure adherence by staff and cadets to College procedures; and
  • Ensure understanding and the application of all RGC policies by all non-RGC staff.
