The Opportunity

A new an interesting opportunity has arisen for a Data Manager who will be responsible for the consistency, accuracy integrity and security of data within the school. This will include maintenance of the database, school reporting facilities and integration with third party systems. As an integral part of our central administrative team you will also provide support to all end users.

How you will make an impact

Your contribution to St Aloysius’ College will be varied and you will ensure that timely accurate and high-quality information is available to support all departments, pupils and parents to enhance efficiency and productivity throughout the college and ensure effective communication between school and parents.

Highly experienced in a data handling, you will help manage and develop systems for the recording, analysing and reporting of pupil data and with the IT department, lead the development and integration of new platforms and ICT systems.

What you need to succeed

Educated to HNC/HND level or with equivalent experience, you will have a thorough understanding of general office practices and systems, ideally within a school or college environment. You will possess excellent communication skills and be highly organised with the ability to respond positively to changing priorities, including out of hours when necessary.

Sound experience in MS Suite (especially Excel), office management software databases and basic IT troubleshooting is required, as is a knowledge of data management principles and governance.
