Temporary Teacher of English and/or General Subjects

St. Philip’s School provides Specialist Residential and Day Education to young people aged 10 – 17 years, who have a range of additional support needs, including such areas as social, emotional and behavioural development.

We are looking to recruit, on a temporary, full-time basis, a Teacher of English and/or General Subjects to support our curriculum at this time. We would particularly welcome applications from Teachers with experience of special education, and/or qualifications, in Additional Support Needs.

We require enthusiastic, flexible and imaginative individuals who are committed to this very challenging work and who can help us develop Curriculum for Excellence and achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.

Candidates must be GTC registered. Terms and Conditions are favourable and Salaries for these posts will be commensurate with individual qualifications and experience.

Health screening will be undertaken prior to confirmation of employment. All convictions whether spent or unspent must be declared. Candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update. (NB It is a criminal offence to make an application if barred from regulated work)
