An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join UHI Shetland to deliver a £3M Campus Redevelopment Project funded through the Islands Growth Deal. This fixed-term post is a fantastic opportunity to make a major and lasting contribution to Tertiary Education in Shetland through the development of modern, high-quality learning and training facilities and innovative approaches to digital and distance learning.
Working alongside UHI Shetland’s Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the management of this significant capital project from the submission of the Final Business Case through to contracting, delivery, monitoring and evaluation. We are looking for someone with project management experience who excels when working with others and engaging stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a motivated, personable and organised individual with a clear focus on the delivery of outcomes. Distant Islands Allowance is currently set at £2,541 which would be in addition to any Salary payment.
A relocation package is not available for this position.
