The postholder will play a key role in supporting and assessing candidates undertaking SVQ qualifications in Business Administration across work-based learning environments within Shetland.
Working as part of the UHI Shetland team, the role focuses on enabling candidates to successfully achieve their qualifications through high-quality assessment, guidance, and support. This includes planning and carrying out workplace assessment activities, supporting evidence collection, and contributing to the ongoing development of vocational learning and skills within the local workforce.
The postholder will work in partnership with candidates, employers, and colleagues to ensure an effective, supportive and inclusive learning and assessment experience that reflects national standards and sector requirements.

For residents of Shetland, Distant Islands Allowance is currently set at £2,997 which would be in addition to any salary payment (pro rata).
