Applications are invited for a part-time 21 hours per week Vocational Training Coordinator to join our Vocational Training team and help contribute to the success of our Modern Apprentice training programmes. UHI Shetland covers a broad range of disciplines and sectors. throughout Shetland and many employers actively use apprenticeships as a suitable pathway into employment.

You will work as part of a team to instigate, co-ordinate and monitor to completion our MA programmes. You will help promote the opportunities available to students, their families, and education settings. You must be self-disciplined and able to work to strict deadlines. Some of our apprentices may face barriers, have additional needs or require directed support so you will be committed to providing an effective and sensitive customer experience to both our students and other stakeholders. You will work with disadvantaged groups and look to promote equality of opportunity so that people from all backgrounds may consider an apprenticeship as a route into employment and education.
