Research and Innovation (R&I) is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join a team working proactively with academic staff and students to support entrepreneurship. The University has significantly increased its support to student entrepreneurs through various mechanisms including guidance and advice, funding, accelerator programmes, and workshops and training. We wish to continue and expand that upward trend of engagement.

This post is within the Impact and Knowledge Exchange team in the University’s Research & Innovation Directorate. The role will contribute to support for staff, student and graduate entrepreneurship at the University of Aberdeen and support our commitment to the development of regional entrepreneurship.

The candidate will draw on skills, knowledge and experience to provide advice and tailored business support to staff, student and recent graduate entrepreneurs. They will facilitate relationships between clients and internal and external partners in the enterprise support network, manage and support competitions for business ideas and develop and evolve the services and support available to student entrepreneurs including the ABVenture Zone facility, providing incubation space and facilities for entrepreneurs.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 6, £36,333 - £43,155 per annum with placement according to qualifications and experience.
