Working as part of a small team assisting the Asbestos Manager with the ongoing management of asbestos across the University estate. To undertake survey/inspection work to identify asbestos containing material and support the development and maintenance of the University asbestos register.
The postholder will be involved with the delivery of an interim system for the assessment and authorisation of maintenance work.
The postholder will be required to use their initiative and creative thinking in all aspects of their work. This may range from complex investigative work to simple enquiries. Within the framework the postholder must ensure that all work carried out complies with current legislation, regulation, specifications and policies.
