ABOUT THE JOB

The Demand and Productivity Officer will deliver comprehensive, accurate demand and productivity related output that will withstand robust scrutiny and deliver accessible reports to inform decision making across Police Scotland.

They will contribute to the creation of a predictive policing model, working closely with the data scientists to build and improve the model.

They will design, implement and maintain high quality reports, dashboards, baselines and analytical tools.

ABOUT YOU

You will be educated to Degree level (or equivalent) with experience in a demand, productivity, or process improvement environment.

Where no formal qualifications exist, a track record of success within a demand, productivity or process improvement environment.

Personable, pro-active, professional and able to demonstrate full commitment to exceptional customer care and service in all activities.

Ability to work closely with colleagues to support functions.

Good written and oral communication skills with ability to present complex ideas in a clear and comprehensible way.

Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external service users.

Excellent IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS project.

Experience in use of object orientated analysis techniques (CASEWISE, Visio).

This full time post is temporary for 12 months and requires Management Level Vetting. You will work 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00
