As part of the team working in Learning Training and Development you can make a real difference by supporting the provision of a suite of training products to our officers and staff.

As a Training and Development Officer, you will design and deliver training courses together with carrying out training needs analysis.

Please Note - The base location will be Scottish Police College, Tulliallan with hybrid working in place. Travel will be expected to other sites dependent on business requirements.


Key Responsibilities –

  • To develop, design, maintain and deliver a comprehensive in house Learning & Development service for Police Scotland with a focus on apprenticeship programmes.
  • To conduct Training Needs Analysis, engaging with key stakeholders; design, deliver and evaluate training, using multiple formats, with suitable assessment strategies in place to ensure provision of a relevant, accurate and professional training service
  • Work with other departments to provide subject matter expertise and contribute to the change control process.

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 09.00 – 17.00
