Audio Visual Support Analyst

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service would like to invite applications for the post of Audio Visual Support Analyst, based in any of the DDaT workshop locations, specifically, Dundee, Cambuslang, Newbridge, Johnstone and Inverness on a permanent basis. This is a full-time opportunity, working 35 hours per week, however, applications from individuals seeking to work on a part time, job share or flexible working basis would be considered.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a high quality, customer focused comprehensive audio visual services throughout the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. This will include first and second line support service to all end users in line with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and the industry standard ITIL framework. To ensure proper Audio Visual provision and operation to allow end users to accomplish relevant business tasks to meet the current and future needs of the SFRS business.

Applicants should have audio visual or digital technology experience, with strong customer-focused technical support skills across PA systems, video conferencing, display equipment and related applications. The role requires resolving incidents, supporting installations, working with suppliers, maintaining documentation and knowledge articles, supporting events, managing hardware, and following ITIL/ITSM processes. Applicants must be able to travel across Scotland to facilitate site visits when required. ITIL certification, emergency services experience, and skills in Teams rooms, PA systems, smartboards or digital signage are all desirable.

Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to regular review - in line with the SFRS performance appraisal arrangements. A higher salary placing will be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.
