Driving Instructor
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service would like to invite applications for the post of Driver Instructor, based in East of Scotland. This is a full-time opportunity, working 35 hours per week however applications from individuals seeking to work on a part time, job share or flexible working basis would be considered.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake driving instructor duties for Category B+E, C1 and C (LGV) Driving Licence Acquisition to all uniformed and support personnel for the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service. Please refer to attached job description for further details).
Applicants will require previous experience of Driver Training as well as a Category B+E Driving Entitlement, Category C (LGV) Driving License (Min 3 years), experience of delivering driver and/or driver related training and evidence of delivering licence acquisition testing, technical and practical training.

Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to regular review - in line with the SFRS performance appraisal arrangements. A higher salary placing will be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.
