Health and Wellbeing Administrator
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service would like to invite applications for the role of Health & Wellbeing Administrator. The base location for this role is flexible and supports hybrid working from home and a SFRS hub, as required.
There are two vacancies, one full-time (35 hours) and one part-time (14.5 hours), however applications from individuals seeking to work on a job share or flexible working basis would be considered.
Working within a busy team, as Health & Wellbeing Administrator, you will be responsible for the provision of effective administrative support across the SFRS Health and Wellbeing (HW) Department in order to ensure the effective delivery of Health and Wellbeing activities.
Previous administrative experience, with evidence of strong customer service skills is essential along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Packages, in particular Word and Excel.
Applicants must be able to work on their own initiative, prioritise workload and be able to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail. You will need to be self-motivated and have excellent organisational; communication and problem-solving skills coupled with a flexible approach.

Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to regular review - in line with the SFRS performance appraisal arrangements. A higher salary placing will be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.
This post is also subject to the provision of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exemptions) Scotland Order 2013. Therefore, the successful candidate's will be subject to a Level 2 Disclosure record check through Disclosure Scotland.
