The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) is delighted to invite applications for the role of Station Commander.
As a Station Commander, you’ll play a vital role in the effective delivery of fire and rescue services to the communities of Scotland. The role requires effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure local priorities align with broader organisational aims. A strong awareness of key challenges is essential to help deliver current priorities and shape the future vision of the SFRS.
This role forms part of the SFRS Flexi Duty Officer System and requires you to provide an operational emergency response as Incident Commander. You will lead, manage, support and resolve operational incidents safely and effectively, as well as providing support and leadership to other Flexi Duty Managers in their Incident Command duties.
We are looking for individuals who can lead with integrity, communicate effectively, and consistently demonstrate the values and behaviours that support our commitment to the safety and wellbeing of the communities of Scotland.
