Active Living for Life Instructor

Job Description

Working across communities and facilities in Stirlingshire, you will deliver a high-quality Active Living for Life referral service to support individuals and their families affected by chronic health conditions to access inclusive and appropriate physical activity opportunities.

Requirements

Experience of delivering fitness classes and programmes within a sport, physical activity or health setting. Possess excellent communication skills with proven ability to forge strong relationships. Candidates require relevant qualifications in sport, physical activity and Health including a Level 3 Exercise Referral Qualification. Experience of supporting those facing barriers to participation is required along with knowledge of training clients with long term health conditions and the implications and contraindications for exercising.

Responsibilities

To be responsible for the undertaking of assessments, inductions and programming for individuals referred to the Active Living for Life Programme. You will lead the delivery of health specific exercise classes and support the transition to wider community opportunities.
