Job Description

This is a multi-task role to allow a consistent approach to ensure that excellent customer service is always delivered throughout the facility. The post-holder will be required to undertake a variety of tasks which will be in addition to the tasks of the core role to achieve and maintain a high level of cleaning throughout the Sports Village. Tasks could also include assisting with general sports attendant duties of setting up and dismantling equipment and Customer service duties. To meet the requirements of the role, qualifications will be pursued and on-going training and support will be provided over time. There are x3 posts available - x1 day shift and x2 evening/night shift.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout all areas of the facility including gyms, studios, changing rooms, toilets, health suite, spectator areas, swimming village, ice rink, customer walkways and cafe area. Carry out routine and deep cleaning tasks in line with cleaning schedules and operational needs. Ensure all toilets are fully stocked with toilet rolls, hand soap. Empty bins throughout the facility and ensure waste is disposed of correctly and safely. Maintain cleaning cupboards and storage areas, ensuring they are clean, organised, and fully stocked. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with COSHH and health & safety procedures. Report maintenance issues, hazards, damaged equipment, or low stock levels to management promptly. Support health & safety procedures by maintaining safe walkways, responding to spillages quickly, and using correct signage during cleaning tasks. Work closely with operational teams to ensure cleaning standards support excellent customer experience and day-to-day operations. Follow all company policies, cleaning procedures, and training requirements including emergency procedures. Provide a professional, friendly, and approachable presence for customers and colleagues at all times.
