Job Description

This is an incredible opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to start a career in the leisure industry. Gain industry leading qualifications and experience with our team at our world-class facilities in Stirlingshire. After completing the required qualifications you will primarily provide a quality Climbing Wall programme for pre-school, school-aged children and adults. You will learn to plan lessons, so that individuals needs can be met, and to enhance their experience and make best progress with each child/adult in the programme. At Active Stirling we have a team-first approach so you will also have the opportunity to gain a lifeguarding qualification and some coaching qualifications so you can support operations across The PEAK and gain invaluable experience in multiple environments. Various part-time contracts available, all fixed term initially for 1 year. Please note, if you do not currently hold the relevant Climbing Instructor Qualification, you must be available ALL of the dates below to complete the necessary training course: Monday 20th July : 9am to 5pm Tuesday 21st July: 9am to 5pm Please note that the ability to travel to Perth for part of training is required. There are various part time posts available. All fixed term until June 2027, but may be extended.

Requirements

· Must be a confident and competent climber. · Must be at least 17 years old.  · Must have at least 6 months experience of using a variety of climbing walls although support will be provided by centre instructions. · Must have an interest in climbing and in supervising groups on climbing walls.  · Must be a member of a mountaineering council .

Responsibilities

• To plan and prepare quality climbing sessions including lesson planning and evaluation. • To support the delivery of membership activities and Holiday Club at The PEAK • Create a great experience for customers and your team members.
