Relief Sports Attendant and Multi Facility Role (Balfron)

Job Description

Supervising swimmers and remaining alert to potential hazards. Responding quickly to emergencies and carrying out rescues when required. Providing first aid and CPR in accordance with training. Enforcing pool rules and promoting safe behaviour. Completing routine safety checks of the pool and poolside areas. Setting up and safely supervising pool activities and equipment. Sports coaching of our holiday camps Assisting customers and providing a friendly, professional service. Maintaining the required level of lifeguard fitness, knowledge and practical skills through regular training. Reporting accidents, incidents, hazards and equipment defects to management.

Requirements

STA Pool Lifeguard qualified.

Responsibilities

Maintain constant supervision of the swimming pool and poolside areas. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pool users. Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and carry out rescues when required. Administer first aid and CPR in line with training. Enforce pool rules and deal appropriately with unsafe behaviour. Complete routine poolside and safety checks. Identify and report hazards, defects, accidents and incidents. Assist with setting up and supervising swimming activities and equipment. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation within pool areas. Provide friendly and professional customer service. Attend regular lifeguard training and maintain required qualifications and competencies. Follow the facility’s Normal Operating Procedures (NOP) and Emergency Action Plan (EAP).
