Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust’s Back on the Road (Glasgow) Community Interest Company has a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced addiction recovery professional to coordinate the liaison work of the Company's social inclusion programme.
The purpose of this post, in tandem with the Back on the Road Management Team, is to develop and deliver recovery services currently being provided by Back on the Road (Glasgow) CIC.
As part of the Back on the Road Management Team you will undertake duties in line with relevant legislation and sound addiction recovery management practice in furthering the aims and objectives of Back on the Road
You will work with the Supervisor in recruiting and delivering support to the participants on Back on the Road and on their onward referral to employment. Additionally, you will provide support to the GVVT Consultant in submitting and accounting for funding bids.
Your role will also include citywide responsibilities for liaising with recognised addiction recovery agencies and promoting Back on the Road to these agencies. You will be operationally responsible for developing networks in the addiction recovery and employability fields.
Excellent communication skills are integral to the role and an ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders is essential.
You will be responsible for evaluating and monitoring project outcomes, providing evaluation and monitoring reports for funders. In addition, you will maintain records of meetings and produce monthly reports for the Management Team and Board of Directors.
Drafting the annual report ready for review by the Board of Directors will be an important part of the role along maintaining a database of programme data and statistics in compliance with GDPR as will maintaining a file of hard copies of documents as required.
You must be IT literate in MS Office
Applicants must have experience working in the addiction recovery field.
A qualification in Alcohol and Drug studies/practice or Community Development is desirable. Preference will be given to applicants who possess such a qualification. You must be prepared to undertake continuous professional development as required.
You will be responsible to the Lead Director in the first instance and thereafter to the Board of Back on the Road (Glasgow) CIC.
