Benachie Playgroup

Benachie Playgroup (SC005943) is a well-established, popular playgroup which runs in the Studio Theatre at Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline. We are uniquely successful as an independent, self-funding charity which places children and parents at the centre of our ethos.

We are a busy and very popular playgroup, serving the Dunfermline area since 1976.We are registered with the Care Inspectorate and affiliated to Early Years Scotland. As a voluntary service managed by a committee of parents/carers, our service users have a greater say in their children's learning and develoment. We are immensely proud to have been chosen by Early Years Scotland (formerly the Scottish Preschool Play Association) from over 1100 services for the very first ‘Group of the Year’ and ‘Volunteer of the Year’ awards.
