Senior Property Services Officer

Location: This post is based at Link’s Falkirk office. However, hybrid working is available with this role.

Hour of Work: 35 per week, Monday to Friday.

Salary: £45,204.00 - £56,557.00 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)

Link is looking for a Senior Property Services Officer who will manage the Property Services team within C~urb Property Maintenance, in the provision of technical support and associated services across the Link Group asset portfolio.

The Senior Property Services Officer will ensure the effective delivery of technical and operational property maintenance services. Operating as lead for the Property Service function, you will be responsible for managing a team of field/office based technical staff and admin support functions, to ensure Link Group’s asset portfolio is well maintained, monitored, and managed effectively.

The postholder will also be responsible for managing the delivery of the relative business objectives, in collaboration with wider Curb Property Maintenance resource and other key internal stakeholders, such as operational service delivery, asset management and housing management and customer services.

About You

As Senior Property Services Officer, you will have a good standard of education and an HNC in Building/Technical/Construction related subject or equivalent. You will have Project Management experience and proven experience in a similar role. Knowledge of and commitment to excellent customer care and equal opportunities is essential.


This role requires experience in assessing building defects and costing and a sound knowledge of Scottish Housing Quality Standards [SHQA]. As Senior Property Services Officer, you will have experience in line managing a team, preparing and delivering reports and advanced Excel experience.

You will have an understanding of Housing Association business and practices and experience in assessing building defects and costing same. This role requires the ability to travel between services as the role requires and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
