Central Scotland Valuation Joint Board covers the Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling Council areas. The Assessor for the Valuation Joint Board is responsible for compiling and maintaining the Valuation Roll for Non-Domestic Rates and the Valuation List for Council Tax. The Assessor is also the Electoral Registration Officer for three Councils (Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire) and in that capacity is responsible for maintaining the Register of Electors and Absent Vote Lists. The Board employs approximately 45 people and our office is at Glendevon House, Castle Business Park, Stirling, FK9 4TZ.

We are looking to recruit an Analyst/Programmer to work within our Development Team.

Applications are invited from candidates who are educated to a degree level in an IT related discipline, hold a relevant professional qualification or who are able to demonstrate compensatory experience in programming work, systems admin and technical support.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in application development and will be looking for a new challenge. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing, maintaining, and optimising the systems that support our essential public services. Your expertise in software deployment and database management will help ensure that our IT infrastructure is secure, efficient, and scalable.
