The role

We’re looking for a passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People and Strategy team.

This is a new and exciting role where you will have autonomy to shape the role and make your mark.

You will be responsible for coordinating all recruitment & selection activities for CHAS to ensure we secure the best talent. This includes the hire of clinical nursing staff alongside support service roles such as finance, IT and facilities.

Deploying an effective & inclusive recruitment strategy you will create a positive recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers to ensure a strong pipeline of candidates.

Liaising with key stakeholders and hiring managers you will build excellent working relationships to understand organisation needs and use an innovative approach to ensure all vacancies are filled successfully.

The specifics

Key responsibilities of the role include;

  • Manage all recruitment & selection activities and processes end to end, including associated administration.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and execute creative recruitment campaigns to attract the best talent.
  • Manage employee induction and on-boarding to provide a welcoming and supported introduction to life at CHAS.

You will have

  • Excellent knowledge of inclusive recruitment and selection practices.
  • Experience of creating multi-channel recruitment campaigns (job boards, social media, radio, jobs fairs, open days, etc) and knowledge of working with an applicant tracking system.
  • Ability to think outside the box, creative and solutions oriented, with experience of sourcing candidates in a hard to fill market sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Be articulate and professional with the ability to build excellent working relationships.
  • A passion for the work you do and display excellent customer service skills, with an ability to work collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.
  • A thirst for learning and continuous improvement and keep abreast of latest developments in the field of talent acquisition.
  • Working knowledge of IT and software packages.
