About the Role

ACMs may be discovered during any construction, refurbishment, investment or demolition project or during day-to-day repairs and maintenance work where the Property was built or refurbished before 2000.
This role demands adherence to strict health and safety standards and a proactive approach to risk management, minimising exposure to asbestos fibres for yourself and others whilst maintaining high levels of quality and professionalism.

You will ensure full compliance with Health and Safety procedures by regularly inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining your RPE to guarantee it’s effectiveness.
You will ensure all ACMs are handled carefully, wetted and removed without breakage where possible using hand tools and power tools. Type-H vacuums will be used to “shadow vacuum” dust during removals and all waste will be double bagged, transported in our specialist Vans and disposed of at our Waste Transfer Station in Darnick Street each evening.
You will be proactive and report any issues or safety concerns to supervisors to maintain a safe working environment.
