About the Role
The Joiner is a key member of the Operations Division, supporting the Investment team by delivering high‑quality window installation services across the social housing sector. This role involves completing window installations and associated joinery works in both occupied and void properties, including measuring openings, safely removing existing units, and fitting new windows with correct sealing, insulation and finishing. In addition to window installation tasks, the post holder may also be required to undertake a full range of general joinery duties as and when required.
The post holder will be responsible for carrying out Investment works from start to completion, providing excellent customer service to tenants and clients throughout.
The successful candidate must adhere to all relevant building standards and health and safety legislation, ensuring work is carried out safely and respectfully within tenants homes. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is essential.
This role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, delivering efficient installations whilst maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship, and overall quality.
What You Will Bring
You will be an experienced, fully qualified Joiner with a strong customer‑focused approach and the ability to deliver high‑quality work within agreed timescales.
You should have substantial experience working within a customer‑focused environment and demonstrate a flexible approach to ensure a consistently high standard of service is provided.
You will be proactive with the ability to provide Customer Service Excellence. You will be expected to project a professional and high‑quality image of the service at all times and conduct yourself in a courteous and respectful manner when representing the organisation.
You will ensure all tasks are completed safely and in full compliance with building regulations and health and safety legislation.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
