About the Role

The Plumber is a key member of the Operations Division, working within the Investment team to deliver high‑quality kitchen and bathroom installation services across the social housing sector. This role involves installing, replacing, and maintaining sinks, toilets, baths, showers, and associated pipework, as well as carrying out gas pipework alterations for hob and oven installations. The post holder will be responsible for completing installations and associated works to a high professional standard within both occupied and void properties, working to tight timeframes as part of a small multi‑trade team.

The successful candidate must ensure all work is completed safely, in line with current building standards, the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, health and safety legislation, and organisational policies. Maintaining care and respect for tenants homes, keeping a clean and safe work environment, and providing excellent customer service are essential aspects of the role. The post holder may also be required to undertake a full range of general plumbing duties as and when required.

What You Will Bring

You will be an experienced and fully qualified Plumber with a strong background in both plumbing and gas work. You will be confident in managing kitchen and bathroom installations efficiently, working to tight timeframes whilst maintaining exceptional standards of safety, workmanship, and customer service. You will have experience in all aspects of installation, including pipework, fixtures, fittings, and gas appliance works, ensuring full compliance with current regulations and industry standards. A proactive, solution‑focused approach is essential, particularly when dealing with unexpected issues on site.

Applicants must demonstrate strong time‑management and organisational skills, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multi‑trade team. A customer‑focused attitude is essential, as is the ability to deliver high‑quality work within agreed timescales.

You will hold a full UK driving licence.

Gas qualifications such as CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, MET1, CKR1, HTR1 are essential, and G3 Unvented Hot Water Cylinders is desirable.
