City Building provides a range of repairs and maintenance, manufacturing, construction and refurbishment activities for Glasgow City Council and Wheatley Housing Group’s citizens and customers as well as other public, private and third sector organisations.

About the Role
The RSBI Warehouse person is a valued member of RSBI and City Building, providing a key service within our stores section the organisation.
The Warehouseperson is responsible for handling and moving raw materials to support manufacturing operations, including the use of mechanical lifting equipment such as forklift trucks.
This role includes vehicle loading and unloading, material picking for production, accurate completion of paperwork, adherence to written instructions, and effective liaison with other City Building teams.
You must ensure that manual handling tasks are carried out in line with Health and Safety regulations. Maintaining good housekeeping practices within the Stores area is a key requirement of this post.
You are expected to work effectively both independently and as an integral part of a team to maintain an efficient workflow and the consistent delivery of high-quality service.
What You Will Bring
The Warehouseperson will have proven knowledge of stock, stores and material management systems.
You will also demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety within a manufacturing environment, promoting safe working practices and ensure the safety of colleagues and the wider workplace.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a customer-focused approach with strong communication skills, contributing to effective teamwork and smooth daily operations.
Forklift Truck Certification for Combi/Reach/Counterbalance is desirable.
